The Feature Events page highlights the festivals and happenings currently receiving special attention across Wellington County — whether because of an anniversary milestone, a particularly notable lineup, or simply their popularity with returning visitors. These are the events the county recommends building a trip around, and the featured selection is refreshed regularly to keep pace with the changing seasons.

Featured events change with the seasons: expect major fall fairs and the Elora Festival to take the spotlight in summer, Christmas markets and Santa Claus parades through late November and December, and maple syrup festivals as the flagship feature each spring. Milestone anniversaries, such as a fair marking its hundredth year, are also given special prominence when they occur.
